As the 2025/26 campaign draws to a close our Performance Director Jordi Pastor reflects on the club's season.
"This season has truly been a season of growth for our club.
One of the biggest steps forward has been the launch of our girls’ programme. The response has been fantastic and the group has had a brilliant first season, showing just how much potential there is to continue growing the women’s and girls’ side of the game in our community.
Our younger age groups continue to grow strongly as well. We are now one of the largest clubs in the region for U9s, U10s and U11s, which reflects the strength of the pathway we are building for the future. This summer, several of our teams will also take part in international tournaments at the U10–U12 and U14 levels, providing fantastic development opportunities and experiences for our young players.
Across the club, our teams continue to compete at a high level in both the North West and National Leagues. Our Premier U14 and U16 teams are heading into the playoffs, while we have two Premier teams at U18 level, with U18 Green pushing to finish top of the league.
Our development pathway is also showing its strength beyond junior competition. Our academy programme at Xaverian has won the CBL, and our U18 group competing in the Men’s National League has won Division 3 and is now heading into the promotion playoffs.
However, what makes us most proud is not just the results. Over the last four years the club has made huge progress, but the real success lies in the people behind it. Our coaches have done an incredible job developing players while also helping young athletes grow into coaches themselves. In fact, we now have three 20-year-old head coaches leading teams within the programme.
Creating opportunities, supporting development and building a strong basketball community remains at the heart of what we do.
We are proud of the progress we have made, but even more excited about where the club is going next."
Thank you to our players, our coaches, our families and our sponsors for a landmark 2025/26 season. Trials for next season will be announced in due course and sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming season are available upon request.
