Junior Manchester Giants
The Junior Manchester Giants U18s squad have had a season to remember as the Xaverian Basketball Academy in the 2025/26 CBL, finishing as Group A winners with a 13-1 record and battling through the playoffs to the CBL Final this Thursday.
The team's performances were recognised across the end of season awards too. Dominic Goodwin, Jayden Evora Gomes and Kelvin Clement all earned places in the All-Conference Team, while Erminas (Duncia) Pelenis picked up the U17 Player of the Year award for Group A. Head coach Paul Cantwell was also named Group A Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.
Xaverian have reached the CBL Playoff Final and will face MK5D Shenley Brook End School at the Essex Sports Arena this Thursday at 11.30am. You can watch the game live on the stream below or attend the game in person with free tickets from the Basketball England website.
